Our crew has been very busy this summer doing renovations on a couple of our properties. One of our biggest goals within the company is preserve the history of Chestnut Hill. Over the past 40 years we have acquired and saved properties that might have otherwise deteriorated with the intention of renting them out as apartments or business space. Many of the properties we offer are located directly on Germantown Ave, in the heart of Chestnut Hill.
Chestnut Hill is the one of the most popular spots for dog lovers and it's easy to see why. This village could be nicknamed an outdoor dogtopia, home to Philadelphia's best trails and parks including the Wissahickon Trail, Forbidden Drive and the beautiful Pastorius Park. Dog owners want to go exploring the outdoors with their best friend and they also want to spoil them. So you may be asking what about a store for pet lovers? Well, we have that too! It's called, "The Bone Appetite," owned by Bowman Properties.
Looking for a good read and yearning for the charm of a local book store in Chestnut Hill? Well we have good news! The Friends of the Chestnut Hill Library are opening up a used book store called Hilltop Books at 84 Bethlehem Pike. Our building crew at Bowman has been working hard over this past year to renovate the space in preparation for the arrival of many generously donated books by the community.
